Still upset that she felt pressured to go into rehab, the former pop star has "cut off all communication with her mom," a friend of Spears tells The National Enquirer. "She's gone from calling Lynne ten times a day to flat-out refusing to speak to her."
The recovering addict is so upset with her mom that she even refused to visit poor Lynne Speras in the hospital on Mother's Day, when she was hospitalized with a case of pneumonia.
Britney didn't even call her mom earlier this month for her birthday, the mag reports.
"Britney says her mom betrayed her and she refuses to get over it," the source told the Enquirer. "When she was told to give her mom a call, Britney said: 'I'm busy, I have my own kids now.' "
This all must be so heartbreaking for Lynne Spears.
Okay, my own mother, who I love dearly, can make me so mad I wanna spit nails sometimes. But I can't imagine never speaking to her again! Brit is such a mess these days!
